CHILI (Easy and Good)
Frances Zager Teshner used to make this in the 1950's.

In 4 qt soup kettle, brown:
1 lb. ground beef (she called it chopped meat)
1 large chopped onion
1 chopped green pepper
1 minced clove of garlic

Then add:
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp paprika
1 Tbsp chili powder, or more

Add:
1 can kidney beans (including the liquid)
1 can tomato soup
1 1/2 cans water
1/2 cup uncooked macaroni (elbow or shell)

Cook over low heat one hour or more, stirring occasionally. Double the recipe in hopes there are leftovers for the next day.
