This recipe was from a woman in St Margaret's Parish, Seattle in 1965. MOm's
used it as the basis for many variations over the years.
1 turkey carcass broken into small pieces
Add 8 cups water and simmer 1-1/2 hours
Dump into colander, remove meat and chop.
Return to pan and add:
1/4 cup chopped carrots 1 cup chopped celery 1/2 cup chopped onions parsley 3 T barley or rice Salt Paprika 1 cup canned tomatoes
